Telephone Broadcast
Description
Telephone broadcast distributes messages to large groups of people very quickly.
The system dials landline and mobile phones and plays voice messages to the recipients while simultaneously sends a text version of the message to email and SMS recipients.
Business managers use it to send out important messages in their own voice to their workers, marketers send information to their customers, emergency services groups muster their personnel, communities alert their members to emergencies such as bushfire, flood, cyclone, mountain road closure, tsunami and terrorism.
Telephone broadcast has helped to track and identify serial arsonists.
For emergencies such as bushfires, getting information out to your neighbours at the early stage of the emergency provides potentially life saving critical time.
Administration Console
The secure browser console enables the administrator to manage members telephone numbers and email addresses, and manage preferences such as who is allowed to send new messages and whether you want each new message to be vetted prior to sending out.
How it works
Simply dial your telephone broadcast number and follow the prompts.
The first prompt provides the option to listen to the last recorded message or to record and send a new one.
Once you have recorded a new message the system will ask you to confirm this message is to be sent or re-recorded. It will then ask you to confirm a second time that you want the message to be sent.
After the second confirmation the system dials all members' landline and mobile phones and plays your recorded message, while simultaneously sending a text version by email and SMS.
Using the humble telephone provides speed and ease of use for broadcasting important messages, even under stressful conditions.
